I think there is a goddess in each and every woman. Some, sadly lie dormant and undiscovered, yet others seem to burst forth in a kaleidoscope of brilliant color. Fiery and passionate, strong yet ethereal. This is what see in Nadia’s work. A beautiful display of the internal made external, Série Nuwa, captures something elusive. A divine spark that resides in us all… waiting to be discovered. – J.W. In her own words “I’m originally from the east of the France, but fell in love with Paris and made it my home. I adore Paris because it’s such a multicultural and living city. She can be a stressful place to be but the energy is so incredible, inspiration can easily be found anywhere you look. It surrounds you.
Fashion inspires me through its colors and textures. As a self-taught photographer, I have developed an insatiable passion for the self-portrait, an art that has become indispensable to me in expressing myself. I try to grow using my head and my body as an artistic medium.
My fascination with extravagant dress, painting and movement has led me to create this album of heroines, warriors and chimerical queens.
Nuwa is a series of imaginary characters, with reference to the creator goddess of the same name, which shaped the first men out of clay and earth.
